The dream comes true
The project started many years ago, when a bounch of friend started to buy and work a piece of land in Lido di Venezia.
The purpouse of the project was to build a meditation center just a couple of meters from the sea. A dream was born.
After 15 years and many meditations, happening, Enlighted persons, parties and good food, the project started to have a big challenge…the piece of land became a real stripe between Lagoon and sea, a gate to wellness and joy: Zorba the Buddha.
Summer of 2010 will be the official opening of the Energy Darshan, an osho meditation center with the freshness of a holiday resort with a vegetarian restaurant, a meditation Hall, 5000 m² of Garden between the lagoon of Venice and the Sea, close to a wild and beautiful beach, like Goa.

Film Festival 2009

The design of the all Film Palace looks to me better as the past years, but something terrible is waiting for us behind the barriers: the new Congress palace will be build witha very strange design of the whole area, three different shapes in different style…mahh..
Two fascist and a Starship not well landed..let´s see what will be…
The number of visitors look like the past years, the night life not yet started, but slowly taking place.
Wich films will I see: Valhalla Rising, Toto´, Dehli -6, Gulaal, Soul Kitchen, Break up, i´m planning, let´s see what will happen.
Tilda Swinton is also arrived in Lido, so after Clooney, another star in the Lido Sky….

Revival…
At this time of the years, starts a new feeling in me, a deep awarness that summer is finishing…it´s no sadness, only the wish to take a bit of time and look back, like a wise man will look at the past and let it go with a smile.
Summer it´s time for expolding and enjoy life,to stay outside till night and, of course, do some very junlge party on the beach.
We have a special way of grill parties here in Lido: to Murazzi, a defense structure with a great story behind it.
Murazzi started to be buided on the 1700 with a special vulcanic stone, that in contact with water will produce a strong cement, a defence against hight tide.
And now looks like a protected, imaginary place on the sea.
And I look back now at the time where was so usual to organise such parties, that a famous reggae band of Venice decided to writew a song.
Enjoy it….with a glass of good wine!!!

padiglione malamocco
For the 53rd International Art Exhibition the Venice Biennale has a new separate pavilion in the island of Lido: Padiglione Malamocco, with nerw emergent artists from the little island.
Besides early works from well knowed artists like The Baron, The grandpa, we can see istants works maded in this season, rendering art a living process of assiociations of life, moments, colors and emotions.
A part od this pavilion is also dedicated to young artists, kids paints and sculptures.
For more informations about Padiglione malamocco, or how to reach it, just rent a bike in s.M.elisabetta, the boat terminal in Lido Venice and ride for 7 kilometers direction Alberoni. Do the Murazzi side, a beautiful trip along the sea.

Yes, it´s partytime again…
After the incredible ‘70 party of ferragosto, Lido Venice is moving again tonight with a special summer carnival party by Murazzi restaurant.
A very special place in front of the Sea, a very special occasion to enjoy the last ( incredible) days of this summer.
Carnival costume requested, see you tonight, crazy and lovely like always, to bring joy, life, happiness with the dance.!!!

Ferragosto in Lido Venice

Ferragosto is the highlight of the italians. EVERYBODy is in Holiday, nothing works.
It´s normally the hottest day of the year, and of course the hottest night. What to to tonight? I suggest a 70´s party by Ristorante al Cason, all the right people will be there.
A couple of partiea are also available around the island: a super dinnner by Culinaria, Alberoni.
A pary in aurora beach and blue moon.
And of course private reunions along murazzi for a geat grill party.

Prem Joshua in Lido di venezia

It was a hot, crowdy wendsday, at the end of Lido, where the Mose is taking position. Evening, the moon was there, nearly a shiva moon, and everything was ready for a nice concert.
Prem joshua is a world music traveller, with a lot of music experience about fusion, world music, indian music.
A nice and fresh concert at the Oasi Culinaria in Alberoni, a beautiful place of relax and nature.
Joshua is a so called friend, we met a lot of times, sometime at the same Festival to play with aour different groups, sometimes in Poona, just enjoying a meditation, sometime in Cologne, always laughing about our one time a year meeting.
He will came again the 30th of august, same place but in the mornig, 10 oclock for a nice morning concert.

Today, working at my website for tourism in Lido di Venezia, I met an Hotelier who established a very fresh concept for his Hotel: Bio Hotel.
I ´m really entusiastic about it, because it´a very courageous step fronting the economical crisis.
The rooms are all in not treated wood, also the fornitures without poisoning lack ( wwe know the smell of “new” ), the electric system is free of magnetic fields, the beds are consciously oriented, breakfast is of course with organic food…

I think that actually we all had the experience to arrivae in a expensive hotel and have the feeling that the quality of the material is not so high according to the price of the room, and this is the point, also, to came back to quality, good quality, of service, material, and life.
I will support it.

yes, it´s sommer, the best period of the year.
There are plenty of activity, but the most beautiful is…to rest in the sun!!!
there are 12 Km od sand and rock in Lido, and after many experiences, I ´ve decided for a zone strait before Alberoni.
Since few years ago this piece of beach started to be crowded by special people who wanted to enjoy the beach, with a kind of freedom; at the same time the beach was starting to became bigger because of the works at the MOSE, and the meditation center Energy Darshan were attracting a lot of seekers who wanted to enjoy the sun and the sea.
this mix created a community of people meeting everyday at the same place, playing football, listening music, inventing some new story.
Someone is able to go to fish, so in the evening it´s also possible to eat some sea product, the most “peoci” (mussels).
And often are organized beautiful grill party until late night, with the witnessing of the rising moon, beautiful…..
